About The Recipe
Ingredients
6 drumsticks
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tsps paprika
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tbsp hot sauce of choice

Preparation
Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, and chopped garlic, stirring everything together to create a marinade.
Marinate the Chicken: Place the drumsticks in a large plastic bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each drumstick is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and let the chicken marinate in the fridge for at least two hours, ideally overnight for maximum flavor.
Sear the Drumsticks: When ready to cook, bring the chicken to room temperature. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat a dry cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the drumsticks in the skillet. Sear for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until nicely browned.
Bake the Drumsticks: After searing, transfer the skillet (or place drumsticks on a baking sheet if needed) into the preheated oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the drumsticks are cooked through and the juices run clear when pierced.
Optional Garnish. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
